At A Game of Inches, we seek to examine the different situations in which small details have made major differences.
Many are familiar with the legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden. He transformed a rag tag program into a national powerhouse, winning 10 national championships in 12 years. Perhaps even more impressive than his coaching ability, however, was his insight into the many aspects of life. His Pyramid of Success, Seven Point Creed, and various maxims about the world have revealed his deep understanding of life.
One saying in particular stands out above all the rest: “It’s the little details that are vital. Little things can make big things happen.” This quote rings true in just about every aspect of life – from sports to business, and music to relationships – the details can make all the difference.
